Solenoid Test

With starter solenoid removed from vehicle, attach a DVOM between solenoid terminal "S" and body ground. If continuity exists, replace starter solenoid. Check for continuity between solenoid terminals "S" and "M". If continuity does not exist, replace starter solenoid. Check for continuity between solenoid terminals "B" and "M" while depressing solenoid plunger. If continuity does not exist when plunger is depressed, replace solenoid.
