EX-L Touring Model

Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
Press the SEL/RESET button on the steering wheel repeatedly until the oil life is displayed (if more than 15%) or the maintenance message is displayed (if oil life is less than 15%).
NOTE: If you are resetting the display when the oil life is more than 15%, or if the maintenance message "SERVICE DUE SOON" is displayed, make sure the maintenance items requiring service have been performed before resetting this display.
Press the SEL/RESET button for about 10 seconds. The display will change to the "CUSTOM SETUP" mode, then release the button.
Again momentarily press the SEL/RESET button to select "RESET." The maintenance item code(s) disappear and the oil life will be reset to "100."
NOTE: If you want to cancel resetting, press the INFO button on the steering wheel. The display changes to "CANCEL," then press the SEL/RESET button on the steering wheel to cancel the procedure.
NOTE:
- If the required service is performed and the display is not reset, or if the display is reset without performing the service, the system will not show the proper maintenance levels. This can lead to serious mechanical problems because there will be no record of when maintenance is needed.
- The engine oil life and the maintenance items may be reset independently only with the HDS.
