Pre-Alignment Checks
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Honda CR-V and 2005 Honda CR-V. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
For proper inspection and adjustment of the wheel alignment, do these checks:
- Release the parking brake to avoid an incorrect measurement.
- Make sure the suspension is not modified.
- Check the tire size and tire pressure.
Tire size:
Front/Rear: 215/65R16 98T
Tire pressure:
Front/Rear: 200 kPa (2.0 kgf/cm 2 , 29 psi)
- Check the runout of the wheels and tires.
- Check the suspension ball joints. (Hold a wheel with your hands, and move it up and down and right and left to check for wobbling.)
- Bounce the vehicle several times to stabilize the suspension.
