Hatch Lock Cylinder Replacement
NOTE:
Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Remove the hatch trim panel (see TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - HATCH AREA ).
- Disconnect the cylinder rod (A), and remove the bolts securing the hatch lock cylinder (B).
- Turn the lock cylinder (A) 45°, and pull it out.
- If necessary, on the outside of the hatch, remove the lock cylinder seal (B).
- Install the lock cylinder in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- Make sure the cylinder rod is connected properly.
- Make sure the hatch opens properly and locks securely.
