VSA Modulator-Control Unit Removal and Installation: Removal

- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
- Remove the suction line mounting bolt (A) from the bracket.
- Disconnect the 10 mm brake lines (A) and the 12 mm brake lines (B) from the VSA modulator-control unit (C).
- Disconnect the VSA modulator-control unit 22P connector (A) by pushing the lock (B) and pulling down the lever (C); the connector disconnects itself.
- Remove the A/C receiver line (A) and the wire harness clip (B) from the bracket (C).
- Remove the 6 x 12 mm flange bolts (D) and 6 x 16 mm flange bolt (E), then remove the VSA modulator-control unit (F) with the bracket from the body.
- Remove the VSA modulator-control unit (A) and the clip (B) from the bracket (C).
