Center Console Removal/Installation

Special Tools Required 

KTC trim tool set SOJATP2014 *

* Available through the American Honda Tool and Equipment Program; call 888-424-6857

NOTE:
  • Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
  • Take care not to scratch the front seat, dashboard, and related parts.
  • The M/T model is shown, the A/T model is similar.
  1. Remove the parking brake cover lid (A).

  2. M/T model: Remove the shift knob.

  3. Remove the center console (A):
    • Remove the screws (B), and clips (C).
    • Lift the rear of the console up to detach the clip (D), and pull the console rearward to release the front hook (E) from the heater unit.
    • Disconnect the accessory socket connector (F), and if equipped, auxiliary jack connector (G).

  4. Install the console in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
    • Check if the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, and if necessary, replace them with new ones.
    • Make sure the wire harness is not pinched.
    • Make sure each connector is plugged in properly.
    • Set the rib (H) under the pocket onto the parking brake lever bracket (I) correctly.
