Data List/Active Test

  1. DATA LIST 
    1. By reading the DATA LIST displayed on the intelligent tester, you can check values, including those of the switches, sensors, actuators without removing any parts. Reading the DATA LIST as the first step of troubleshooting is one method of shortening diagnostic time.
      1. Warm up the engine.
      2. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
      3. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
      4. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
      5. Operate the intelligent tester according to the display and select "DATA LIST".

        80 to 95°C (176 to 203°F)
        If value is -40°C (-40°F), sensor circuit is open.
        If value is 140°C (284°F), sensor circuit is shorted.
