Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK WIRELESS DOOR LOCK FUNCTIONS 
    1. Check that the wireless door lock functions by operating the transmitter switch.

      HINT:

      When the wireless door LOCK/UNLOCK operation functions normally, it can be assumed that the transmitter signal is being properly input to the multiplex network body ECU.

    NG: GO TO FLOW CHART 

    OK: Go to Next Step 

  2. CHECK HAZARD WARNING LIGHTS 
    1. Check that the hazard warning lights blink when the hazard warning signal switch is pressed.

      OK: Hazard warning lights blink. 

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HAZARD WARNING SWITCH ASSEMBLY 

    OK: Go to Next Step 

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TURN SIGNAL FLASHER RELAY - DRIVER SIDE J / B ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the T11 turn signal flasher relay connector.
    2. Disconnect the 1L driver side J/B connector.
    3. Check the resistance.

      Standard Resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      T11-10 (HAZ) - 1L-8 (HAZ) Below 1
    4. Reconnect the turn signal flasher relay connector.
    5. Reconnect the driver side J/B connector.

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK: REPLACE DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)
