Third Row Seat Disassembly/Reassembly

Special Tools Required 

KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014*

*Available through the Honda Tool and Equipment Program; call 888-424-6857

NOTE:
  • Put on gloves to protect your hands.
  • Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
  1. Remove the third row seat (see THIRD ROW SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION  ).
  2. Remove the third row seat-back cover (see THIRD ROW SEAT-BACK COVER REPLACEMENT  ).
  3. Remove the third row seat cushion cover (see THIRD ROW SEAT CUSHION COVER REPLACEMENT  ).
  4. Remove the third row seat-back recline cables (see THIRD ROW SEAT-BACK RECLINE CABLE REPLACEMENT  ).
  5. Remove the screws, then remove the upper bracket cover (A) and the center bracket cover (B).

    Left third row seat

    Right third row seat

  6. Left third row seat: Remove the recline inner cover (A) and the center inner cover (B) from the seat frame (C).

  7. Remove the bolts (A, B) and the pivot bushing (C) (right third row seat), then separate the seat-back frame (D) and the seat cushion frame (E).

    Left third row seat

    Right third row seat

  8. Right third row seat: Remove the recline inner cover (A) and the center inner cover (B) from the seat frame (C).

  9. Reassemble the third row seats in the reverse order of disassembly.
