Sliding Door Pinch Sensor Test/Replacement

- Remove the sliding door panel (see SLIDING DOOR PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the pinch sensor (B).
- Measure the resistance between the pinch sensor 2P connector terminals No. 1 and No. 2. The resistance should vary from about 1 kΩ to about 100 Ω when the sensor is pressed.
- If the resistance is not as specified, remove the front lower sash, front latch and clip, then replace the pinch sensor.
- Install in the reverse order of removal. After installing, make sure the sliding door operates properly.NOTE:
- Check the connection with the connector.
- Check the operation of the sliding door after installing the sliding door pinch sensor.
