Security Hood Switch Test

Remove the front bumper (see FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the security hood switch.

Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.

If the continuity is not as specified, the key cylinder switch is faulty; replace the hood latch (see HOOD LATCH REPLACEMENT ).
