Drive Belt Inspection
- Inspect the belt for cracks or damage. If the belt is cracked or damaged, replace it.
- Remove the power steering (P/S) fluid reservoir.
- Check that the position of the auto-tentioner indicator pointer (A) on the A/C compressor bracket is not beyond the edge of the indicator (B) on the auto-tensioner. If the pointer is beyond the indicator, replace the drive belt (see DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT ).
