Instrument Panel Removal/Installation
Special Tools Required
KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014*

NOTE:
- Take care not to scratch the dashboard or the related parts.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
- Release the tilt/telescopic lever, tilt the steering column all the way down, and pull it all the way out.
- Disconnect the switch connectors from the instrument panel (A).
- Remove the fuse lid panel (see FUSE LID PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- Disconnect the connectors (B, C) at the driver's dashboard lower cover opening.
- Gently pull out the left side edge of the panel to detach the clips.
- Disconnect the connectors (D, E) at the gap of the instrument panel and the dashboard.
- Disconnect the climate control unit connector (A).
- Gently pull out the right side edge of the panel to detach the clips.
- Disconnect the connector at the gap of the instrument panel and the dashboard.
- Gently pull out along the edge of the instrument panel (A) to detach the clips, then remove it.
- Install the panel in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Push the clips into place securely.
- Make sure each connector is plugged in properly.
