Upper Pocket Removal/Installation

Special Tools Required

KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014*

*Available through the Honda Tool and Equipment Program, 888-424-6857

NOTE:

Take care not to scratch the dashboard or the related parts.
Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.

Remove these items:
- Audio unit (without navigation) (see AUDIO UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- Audio-navigation unit (with navigation) (see AUDIO-NAVIGATION UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
Remove the upper pocket (A).
1. Remove the screw.
2. Pull out the upper pocket slightly toward you, and detach the clips and the pins (B).

If necessary, detach the hooks (A), then remove the mat (B) from the upper pocket (C).

Install the upper pocket in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Push the clips, hooks, and pins into place securely.
