Dynamic Damper Replacement

  1. Remove the inboard joint (see DRIVESHAFT DISASSEMBLY ).
  2. Remove the dynamic damper band (see step  1).
  3. Remove the dynamic damper (A).

  4. Install a new dynamic damper to the right driveshaft.
  5. Adjust the specified distance (A) between the outboard joint side and the dynamic damper edge.

    Right driveshaft: 477.5-482.5 mm (18.80-19.00 in)

  6. Install a new dynamic damper band (see step  10).
  7. Install the inboard joint (see INBOARD JOINT SIDE ).
