Driver's Power Tailgate Switch Test/Replacement

Remove the driver's middle panel (see DRIVER'S MIDDLE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Disconnect the 6P [17P] connector (A) from the driver's power tailgate switch (B).
[]: With parking and back-up sensor system

Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.

[]: With parking and back-up sensor system
With parking and back-up sensor system: If the continuity is not as specified, check the bulb(s) (C). If the bulb(s) are OK, replace the driver's power tailgate switch.
Without parking and back-up sensor system: If the continuity is not as specified, check the bulb (A). If the bulb is OK, replace the driver's power tailgate switch.

Install the switch in the reverse order of removal.
