Radiator Replacement
- Remove the A/C condenser fan shroud and the radiator fan shroud (see FAN, FAN MOTOR, AND SHROUD REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
).
- Raise the vehicle on the lift.
- Drain the engine coolant (see COOLANT REPLACEMENT
).
- Disconnect the lower radiator hose (A) and the ECT sensor 2 connector (B)

- Disconnect the ATF cooler hoses (C), then plug the ATF cooler hoses and the lines:
- Lower the vehicle on the lift.
- Disconnect the upper radiator hose (A), then pull up the radiator (B).

- Remove the other parts from the radiator.
- Install radiator in the reverse order of removal. Make sure the upper and lower cushions are set securely.
- Install the A/C condenser fan shroud and the radiator fan shroud (see INSTALLATION
).
- Refill the transmission with the ATF:
- Fill the radiator with engine coolant, and bleed the air from the cooling system (see COOLANT CHECK
).
- Clean up any spilled engine coolant.
