Is there continuity?
YES -Go to step 4.
NO -Repair open in the wire(s) between the climate control unit and the navigation unit. ■
- Check for continuity between body ground and climate control unit 30P connector terminals No. 24, 25, and 26 individually.Fig 2: Checking Continuity Between Body Ground And Climate Control Unit 30P Connector Terminals 24, 25, & 26

Is there continuity?
YES -Repair short to body ground in the wire(s) between the climate control unit and the navigation unit. ■
NO -Check for loose wires or poor connections at the climate control unit 30P connector and the navigation unit connector A (32P). If the connections are good, substitute a known-good climate control unit and/or navigation unit, and recheck. If the symptom/indication goes away, replace the original climate control unit (see CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ) and/or navigation unit (see NAVIGATION UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ). ■
