Speaker Check Mode

NOTE:
  • Not all self-diagnostic functions appear on all models.
  • There may be other self-diagnostic functions that are for factory use only.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
  2. Make sure the audio system is turned off.
  3. Press and hold the preset No. 1 and No. 3 buttons.
  4. While holding the buttons, push the VOLUME/POWER knob.
  5. Release the buttons, and the speaker check mode begins.

    With navigation and rear entertainment

    (→→ ) is pressed: (1)→(2)→(3)→(4)→(5)→(6)→(7)→(8)→(9)→(10)→(11)

    (←← ) is pressed: (1)→(11)→(10)→(9)→(8)→(7)→(6)→(5)→(4)→(3)→(2)

    With navigation, without rear entertainment or without navigation

    (→→ ) is pressed: (1)→(2)→(3)→(4)→(5)→(6)→(7)

    (←← ) is pressed: (1)→(7)→(6)→(5)→(4)→(3)→(2)

    WITH NAVIGATION AND REAR ENTERTAINMENT

    (4) Right rear door speaker SPKR RR-R You should hear a tone corresponding to the speaker
    (5) Right satellite speaker SPKR SURROUND-R You should hear a tone corresponding to the speaker
    (6) Subwoofer SPKR SUBWOOFER You should hear a tone corresponding to the speaker
    (7) Left satellite speaker SPKR SURROUND-L You should hear a tone corresponding to the speaker
    (8) Left rear door speaker SPKR RR-L You should hear a tone corresponding to the speaker
    (9) Left tweeter SPKR FRTW-L You should hear a tone corresponding to the speaker
    (10) Right tweeter SPKR FRTW-R You should hear a tone corresponding to the speaker

  6. The speaker check mode ends when you turn the audio unit off or turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
