Center Console Disassembly/Reassembly

Special Tools Required 

KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014*

*Available through the Honda Tool and Equipment Program, 888-424-6857

NOTE:
  • Take care not to scratch the center console or the trim.
  • Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
  1. Remove these items:
  2. Detach the clips (A, B), then remove the center console panel (C).

  3. Remove the screws (A) and remove the clips (B, C), then remove the center console side trim (D).

  4. Remove the screws and disconnect the harness clip (A), then remove the center console rear bracket (B) from the center console rear box (C).

  5. Remove the screws, then remove the center console front cross bar (A) and the center console middle bracket (B).

  6. Detach the harness clips (A), and disconnect the front center console light bulb connector (B), then release the subharness (C) from the front console (D).

  7. Remove the screws, then disassemble the rail (A), the shutter (B) and the front console cover (C) from the center console front box (D). If necessary, detach the clips, then remove the beverage holder upper cover (E).

  8. Reassemble the center console in the reverse order of disassembly, and note these items:
    • Make sure the auxiliary jack connector or the AC power outlet connector is plugged in properly.
    • If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
    • Push the clips into place securely.
