Dashboard Center Panel Removal/Installation

Special Tools Required 

KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014*

*Available through the Honda Tool and Equipment Program, 888-424-6857

NOTE:
  • Take care not to scratch the dashboard or the related parts.
  • Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
  1. Remove the driver's center panel (A).
    1. Shift the shift lever in to the N position.
    2. Starting at the top, gently pull the driver's center panel out to detach the clips (B), then pull the panel out to detach the remaining clips (C).
    3. Disconnect the hazard warning switch connector (D) and the VTM-4 switch connector (E) (for some models).

  2. Remove the passenger's center panel (A).
    1. Starting at the top, gently pull the passenger's center panel out to detach the clips (B), then pull the panel out to detach the remaining clips (C).
    2. Disconnect the front accessory power socket connector (D).

  3. Install the cover in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
    • If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
    • Push the clips into place securely.
    • Make sure each connectors are plugged in properly.
