DTC 81: TPMS Control Unit Failure

NOTE:
Low battery voltage can cause this DTC. Make sure the battery is fully charged and in good condition (see BATTERY TEST
).
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
- Clear the DTC with the HDS.
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), then turn the ignition switch to ON (II) again.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC 81 indicated?
YES - Replace the TPMS control unit (see TPMS CONTROL UNIT REPLACEMENT ). ■
NO - The system is OK at this time. ■
