Security Hood Switch Test: Notes

- Open the hood.
- Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the hood switch (B).
- Check for continuity between the terminals.
- There should be continuity between terminals No. 1 and No. 2 when the hood latch is opened.
- There should be no continuity between terminals No. 1 and No. 2 when the hood latch is closed.
- If the continuity is not as specified, replace the hood latch assembly (see HOOD LATCH REPLACEMENT ).
