Tailgate Support Cable Replacement

  1. Open the tailgate in drop-down mode about halfway, and hold it.
  2. Remove the bolts from the left tailgate upper striker (A) and tailgate with a TORX T50 bit, then remove the tailgate support cable (B).

  3. Install the support cable in the reverse order of removal. Replace the cable if there are signs of wear on the protective cover.
