Column Cover Removal/Installation

NOTE:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to scratch or damage the column covers.
- Do not pry on the cover surfaces with any tools.
- Adjust the steering column so that it is fully tilted down and fully extended.
- Turn the steering wheel to a position where the column cover screws can be seen, then remove the screws from the front side of the column cover (A).
- Release the hooks (A), then remove the upper column cover (B).
- Remove the three screws (A, B, C), then remove the lower column cover (D).
- Install the upper and lower column cover in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- Push the hooks and tabs into place securely.
- Before tightening the screws, make sure the wire harnesses are not pinched.
