Rear Power Window Motor Test

- Remove the door panel (see FRONT DOOR SIDE SILL SEAL REPLACEMENT ), and disconnect the rear door wire harness 13P connector (A) from the rear door sub harness.
- At the rear door wire harness 13P connector, test the power window motor in each direction by connecting battery power and ground according to the table below. When the motor stops running, disconnect one lead immediately.
- If the motor does not run or fails to run smoothly, go to step 4.
- Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the rear power window motor (B).
- Check for continuity between rear power window motor 2P connector terminals No. 1 and No. 2 and the door wire harness 13P connector terminals No. 1 and No. 7 respectively. There should be continuity.
- If there is no continuity, repair an open or high resistance in the wires. If the wire harness is OK, replace the power window motor.
