Input Shaft Installation Height Inspection: Inspection

NOTE:  Remove all of the old liquid gasket from the sealing surface of the transmission housing.

1. Feed Pipe A - Install
2. Feed Pipe Flange - Install
3. Internal Snap Ring - Install

   1. Install the internal snap ring (A) by compressing it using commercially available snap ring pliers (B). NOTE: Be careful not to deform the snap ring by opening/closing it excessively. Make sure the snap ring is firmly installed in the groove.

4. Over Drive Gear Bearing (Transmission Housing Side) - Install
5. Over Drive Gear Bearing (Over Drive Clutch Side) - Install
6. Over Drive Gear - Install
7. Over Drive Clutch - Install
8. Input Shaft - Install

   NOTE:  No need to install the O-rings in this procedure.

9. Shim - Install

10. Input Shaft Installation Height - Inspect

    1. Set a straight edge (A) on the input shaft (B). 2. Measure at three locations, and average the reading. 3. Measure at three locations, and average the reading. 4. Measure the shim thickness.     Installation Height Standard:
    	16.165-16.210 mm (0.63642-0.63819 in)

    6. Install the selected shim, then recheck the installation height.
