DTC P023D

DTC P023D  : Turbocharger Boost Sensor/MAP Sensor Incorrect Correlation

NOTE: 

• Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information .
• If DTC P023D is indicated alone, do the troubleshooting for DTC P0236, P2073, and P2074 using the on-board snapshot for P023D.
• If any of the DTCs listed below are indicated at the same time as DTC P023D, troubleshoot those DTCs first, then recheck for P023D.

  P0236: Turbocharger boost sensor

  P2073, P2074: MAP sensor

DTC (PGM-FI)

1. DTC check

   -1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

   -2. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.

   P023D Turbocharger Boost Sensor/MAP Sensor Incorrect Correlation
   P2073 MAP Sensor Signal Higher Than Expected
   P2074 MAP Sensor Signal Lower Than Expected

   Are DTC P0236, P2073, or P2074 and P023D indicated at the same time?

   YES 

   Go to the indicated DTC's troubleshooting.

   NO 

   Go to the troubleshooting for DTC P0236 , DTC P2073 , and DTC P2074 .
