ATF Level Check and Replacement: Replacement
NOTE:
- How to read the torque specifications .
- Keep all foreign particles out of the transmission (e-CVT).
- Vehicle - Lift
- Motor Undercover - Remove
NOTE: Remove the necessary part(s).
- ATF - Drain

1. Remove the drain plug (A) with the sealing washer (B). 2. Drain the ATF.
3. Reinstall the drain plug with a new sealing washer.
- ATF - Refill

1. Remove the filler plug (A) with the sealing washer (B). 2. Refill the transmission (e-CVT) with the recommended fluid through the filler plug hole (C) to the proper level (D). Always use genuine Honda ATF DW-1.
ATF Capacity: 2.11 L (2.23 US qt) at change 3.15 L (3.33 US qt) at overhaul NOTE: Using a non-Honda ATF can affect shift quality.
- All Removed Parts - Install
1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal. - Maintenance Minder - Reset
1. If the Maintenance Minder required to replace the ATF, reset the Maintenance Minder with the gauge (see "Resetting the Maintenance Minder") . If the Maintenance Minder did not require to replace the ATF, reset the Maintenance Minder with the HDS (see "Resetting the Individual Maintenance Items") .
