Operating Condition

Test drive the vehicle as follows: 

• Turn the vehicle to the READY TO DRIVE mode.
• Drive the vehicle at a speed of 6 mph (10 km/h) or less for at least 2 seconds.
• Accelerate the vehicle to 25 mph (40 km/h) or more for at least 2 seconds.
• Decelerate the vehicle, and drive at speeds below 6 mph (10 km/h) for at least 2 seconds.
• Stop the vehicle.

While depressing the brake pedal, test the electronic gear selector switches as follows: 

• Shift the transmission to other than R position/mode for at least 1 minute.
• Shift the transmission to R position/mode at least 10 times.
• Shift the transmission to other than N position/mode for at least 1 minute.
• Shift the transmission to N position/mode at least 10 times.
• Shift the transmission to other than D position/mode for at least 1 minute.
• Shift the transmission to D position/mode at least 10 times.

• Drive the vehicle in this manner only if the traffic regulations and ambient conditions allow.
