Fuel Line/Quick-Connect Fitting Precautions: Notes

NOTE:

How to read the torque specifications .
Refer to the Fuel and Emissions Systems Service Precautions before disconnecting the fuel line.
Replace the fuel feed hose, fuel line, or the quick-connect fitting with a new one if it is damaged.

When removing or installing the fuel feed hose/line, or when disconnecting or connecting the quick-connect fittings, pay attention to the following:

Not heat-resistant; Be careful not to damage them during welding or other heat-generating procedures.
Not acid-proof; Do not touch them with a shop towel that was used for wiping 12 volt battery electrolyte or something similar.
Not stress-resistant; Be careful not to bend or twist the fuel feed hose/line excessively.
