Confirmation Procedure
Operating Condition
- Enter the maintenance mode, then start the engine. Hold the engine speed [Engine Speed] at 3, 000 rpm without load (in P or N) until the radiator fan comes on. After warming up the engine, cancel the maintenance mode.
- Drive the vehicle at a steady speed of 25 mph (40 km/h) or less, for at least 5 minutes.
- Drive immediately at a steady speed of 23 mph (37 km/h) or more and engine speed [Engine Speed] between 2, 100 - 3, 000 rpm* 1 (1, 500 - 4, 000 rpm)* 2 for at least 8.0 seconds.
- Drive the vehicle in this manner only if the traffic regulations and ambient conditions allow.
