DTC U3003-17 (VSA Control Unit): Inspection

12 Volt Battery Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Procedure
  • Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
  • Confirm the HDS [BATTERY VOLTAGE] value.

• Normal Conditions
  • HDS [BATTERY VOLTAGE] value is less than 16.5 V  .

Results 

• If it is normal, there is a problem with the VSA modulator-control unit.
• If it is abnormal, check the 12 volt battery - Refer to: 12 Volt Battery Internal Resistance Reset () or 12 Volt Battery Test () , and check for fuel and emissions system .
