EVAP Canister Purge Valve Component Inspection
Test Procedure
- Preparation
- EVAP canister purge valve connector (2P): disconnected
- Procedure
- Perform the inspection according to the following chart.

Results
- If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the EVAP canister purge valve.
IGPS(PCS) [IG1_ACG] Circuit Inspection
Test Procedure
- Preparation
- EVAP canister purge valve connector (2P): disconnected
- Procedure
- Perform the inspection according to the following chart.

| IGPS(PCS) [IG1_ACG] circuit inspection | ON | 12 V battery voltage [circuit type 1] | ||
Results
- If it is abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
If the power supply inspection of the above table showed abnormally, do the additional Power Supply Inspection , to locate the failure.
PCS Circuit Inspection
NOTICE:
Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.
Test Procedure
- Preparation
- EVAP canister purge valve connector (2P): disconnected
- PCM connector E (114P): disconnected
- Procedure
- Perform the inspection according to the following chart.

| PCS open wire inspection | OFF | There is less than 1 Ω | |||

Results
- If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
PCM Inspection
Test Procedure
- If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining PCM is the cause.
Results
- There is a problem with the PCM.
