Test Procedure


		(Disconnected) EVAP canister vent shut valve connector (2P) male terminals

Valve internal circuit inspection	OFF		About 25 - 30 Ω (at room temperature)

IGPS(EONV) [IGPS(LAF)] Open Wire Inspection

Test Procedure

Preparation
- EVAP canister vent shut valve connector (2P): disconnected
- Power distribution module connector D (4P): disconnected
Procedure
- Perform the inspection according to the following chart.


			(Disconnected) EVAP canister vent shut valve connector (2P) female terminals	(Disconnected) Power distribution module connector D (4P) female terminals

	IGPS(EONV) [IGPS(LAF)] open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ω

VSSV Circuit Inspection

NOTICE:

Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.

Test Procedure

Preparation
- EVAP canister vent shut valve connector (2P): disconnected
- PCM connector B (72P): disconnected
Procedure
- Perform the inspection according to the following chart.


			(Disconnected) EVAP canister vent shut valve connector (2P) female terminals	(Disconnected) PCM connector B (72P) female terminals

VSSV open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ω
Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.
VSSV shorted to ground inspection	OFF			There is more than 1 MΩ

PCM Inspection

If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining PCM is the cause.
