DTC P2127: Inspection
APP Sensor Inspection
NOTE: Since there is no direct method to test the component itself, troubleshooting is performed on the related components.
Test Procedure
Unit output voltage inspection
- Preparation
- APP sensor connector (6P): disconnected
- Procedure
- Jump the APP sensor connector (6P) terminals No. 1 and No. 3 with a jumper wire.
- Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
- Confirm the HDS [APP Sensor B Voltage].

- Normal Conditions
- HDS [APP Sensor B Voltage] value is more than 0.12 V .
Results
- If it is normal, there is a problem with the accelerator pedal module.
- If it is abnormal, there is a problem with other related components.
VCC5, APS2 Circuit Inspection
NOTICE:
Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.
Test Procedure
- Preparation
- APP sensor connector (6P): disconnected
- PCM connector B (72P): disconnected
- Procedure
- Perform the inspection according to the following chart.

Results
- If it is abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
PCM Inspection
Test Procedure
- If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining PCM is the cause.
Results
- There is a problem with the PCM.
