DTC P2135: Inspection
TP Sensor Inspection
NOTE: Since there is no direct method to test the component itself, troubleshooting is performed on the related components.
Test Procedure
Unit output voltage inspection
- Preparation
- Throttle body connector (6P): disconnected
- Procedure
- Jump the throttle body 6P connector terminals No. 6 and No. 3 with a jumper wire.
- Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
- Confirm the HDS [TP Sensor A] value and the HDS [TP Sensor B Voltage] value.
| (Disconnected) Throttle body connector (6P) female terminals | |
|
|
- Normal Conditions
- HDS [TP Sensor A] value is about 0 V .
- HDS [TP Sensor B] value is about 5.0 V .
Results
- If it is normal, there is a problem with the throttle body.
- If it is abnormal, there is a problem with other related components.
THL1,THL2 Shorted Wire Inspection
NOTICE:
Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.
Test Procedure
- Preparation
- Throttle body connector (6P): disconnected
- PCM connector E (114P): disconnected
- Procedure
- Perform the inspection according to the following chart.
| (Disconnected) Throttle body connector (6P) female terminals | ||||
| IG Mode |
|
Normal Conditions | ||
| THL1, THL2 shorted wire to wire inspection | OFF | There is more than 1 MΩ | ||
Results
- If it is abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
PCM Inspection
Test Procedure
- If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining PCM is the cause.
Results
- There is a problem with the PCM.
