DTC P000F: General Description
The fuel (pressure) discharged from the high pressure fuel pump is released to the high pressure side by the relief valve so that the internal pressure of the delivery pipe does not become excessive. It is monitored that the fuel pressure value is maintained to be above the relief valve opening pressure. The powertrain control module (PCM) monitors the peak fuel pressure of each 180 degrees crankshaft rotation. If the peak fuel pressure, which is determined to be abnormal when the fuel pressure exceeds the malfunction threshold, is counted for certain times, the PCM detects a malfunction and stores a DTC.
