DTC P0121: Inspection
TP Sensor Inspection
NOTE:
Since there is no direct method to test the component itself, troubleshooting is performed on the related components.
Test Procedure
- Preparation
- -
Throttle body connector (6P): disconnected
- -
- Procedure
- -
Perform the inspection according to the following chart.
- -
| (Disconnected) Throttle body connector (6P) female terminals | ||||
| IG Mode |
|
Normal Conditions | ||
| Unit output voltage inspection | ON | About 5.0 V | ||
| Unit output voltage inspection | ON | About 5.0 V | ||
Results
- If it is normal, there is a problem with the throttle body.
- If it is abnormal, there is a problem with other related components.
VCC3(DBW), THL1, SG3(DBW) Circuit Inspection
NOTE:
Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.
