DTC Advanced Diagnostics: P0882: General Description
The transmission control module (TCM) activates and judges drive cycle by the signals from the IG1 line. The TCM sends the signal information of the IG1 line to the powertrain control module (PCM) via the F-CAN lines. If the signal information of the IG1 line received from the TCM is Low when the IG1_FUEL_PUMP signal of the PCM is High for a specified duration, the TCM detects a malfunction and stores a DTC.
