Installation Procedure

Fig 1: Locating Ambient Light Sensor & I/P Top Cover

Install the ambient light sensor to the underside of the I/P top cover, turning it 1/4 turn to secure it in place.

Connect the electrical connector to the ambient light sensor on the underside of the I/P top trim panel.

Install the I/P panel top cover to the I/P. Refer to Trim Pad Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Upper in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
