Coil Spring: Installation

  1. Install the upper insulator in body. See Figure.
  2. Install the lower insulator in the control arm.

  3. Install the spring ensuring the insulator is seated in the control arm.
  4. Raise the lower control arm and install the lower shock bolts to the control arm. See Figure. Tighten the lower shock retaining bolts to 18 Ft. Lbs. (24 N.m).
  5. Install the adjustment link to the lower control arm. See Figure.
  6. Install the adjustment link retaining nut. Tighten adjustment link retaining nut to 22 Ft. Lbs. (30 N.m) plus an additional 180 degrees.
  7. Connect the automatic level control air tube to the shock.
  8. Install the tires and wheels.
  9. Lower the vehicle.
