Removal Procedure

Turn OFF the ignition.
Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to SEAT CUSHION REPLACEMENT -- REAR in Seats.
Disconnect the lateral accelerometer sensor electrical connector (2).
Remove the 2 lateral accelerometer sensor mounting screws (3).
Remove the lateral accelerometer sensor (1).
