Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in GM Vehicles Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the recirculation actuator.
  2. Install the recirculation actuator retaining screws. Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).
  3. Connect the electrical connector to the recirculation actuator.

  4. Position the DIM module bracket to its original position.
  5. Install the rear 2 DIM module bracket retaining screws. Tighten:  Tighten the fasteners to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).
  6. Install the DIM module into the bracket.
  7. Install the IP retainer. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) RETAINER REPLACEMENT in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  8. Recalibrate the actuators. Refer to RE-CALIBRATING ACTUATORS  .
