Installation Procedure

- Press the hood assist rod (2) onto the upper hood assist rod ball stud (1).
- Press the hood assist rod (2) onto the lower hood assist rod ball stud (3).
- Ensure that both clips are fully seated on the hood assist rod (2).
- Close the hood.
