Lower Control Arm: Installation

- Install the lower control arm to the rear suspension support assembly. See Figure.NOTE: Tighten the control arm nuts with the vehicle unsupported and resting on the wheels at the normal trim height.
- Install the lower control arm bolts and the nuts.
- Install the wheel bearing and hub, if necessary. See HUB & BEARING ASSEMBLY .
- Connect the anti-lock brake electrical connector.
- Install the adjustment link to the lower control arm. See Figure.
- Install the adjustment link retaining nut. Tighten the adjustment link retaining nut to 22 Ft. Lbs. (30 N.m) plus an additional 180 degrees.
- Install the stabilizer link bolt and the nut. See Figure. Tighten the stabilizer link nut to 11 Ft. Lbs. (15 N.m).
- Install the automatic level control height sensor link on the left control arm. See SUSPENSION SUPPORT ASSEMBLY .
- Install the rear suspension support assembly.
- Lower the vehicle and tighten the control arm nuts to 78 Ft. Lbs. (106 N.m).
