Installation Procedure

Install the brake hose.

NOTE: Install new brake hose fitting gaskets.

Install new brake hose fitting gaskets (3).
Install the brake hose (2) to the caliper.

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the brake hose fitting bolt (1) to the brake hose and the caliper.
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 52 N.m (38 lb ft).

Install the brake hose bracket bolt (1).
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

Install the wheel speed sensor harness and secure the retaining clips (1).

Install the brake hose bolt (1) securing the brake hose bracket to the wheelhouse.
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

Connect the brake pipe fitting (1) to the brake hose.
Tighten: Tighten the fitting to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).
Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) or Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) .
Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
Lower the vehicle.
