Removal Procedure

Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 7 or SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 9 .

Remove the fasteners securing the seat cushion to the adjuster track. Refer to SEAT CUSHION REPLACEMENT - FRONT .
Lift the front of the seat cushion up in order to gain access to the heated seat module (1).
NOTE: Refer to ELECTRICAL WIRING ROUTING NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
Disconnect the electrical connectors (3) from the heated seat module.
Remove the fasteners (1) securing the heated seat module to the bottom of the seat cushion.
Remove the heated seat module (2) from the bottom of the seat cushion.
