Installation Procedure

  1. Install the midgate latch striker and shim, if equipped, to the pillar.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the screws retaining the striker to the pillar.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws retaining the midgate latch striker to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Close the midgate.
  4. Verify midgate latch operation.
  5. Close the window.
