Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the fuel rail assembly. Refer to Fuel Rail Assembly Replacement .
    2. Fig 1: View Of Fuel Injector

  2. Disconnect the fuel injector harness connector from the fuel injector.
  3. Remove the fuel injector retainer clip.
  4. Pull the fuel injector from the fuel rail.

  5. Discard the fuel injector retainer clip (1).
  6. Remove the fuel injector O-ring seals (2, 4) from both ends of the fuel injector (3)

    Discard the O-ring seals (2, 4).
